Welcoming the Spring in Grayling

March 20, 2009

Well, we still have lots of snow banks, but now, the middle of March,  is giving way to warmer days (finally!) and sunshine.  I can hardly wait to be outside again.  I love the snow, but not the below zero days, which we had more of this winter than I ever remember!  It is a joy to think about raking the lawn, planting flowers and cleaning up from winter.  So, if you need to get away for a weekend, come north and visit Grayling.  It is always fun to walk/hike the trails at Hartwick Pines, the North Higgins Lake State Park has walking trails and good fishing, trout season starts April 25th, in May a visit to Wellington Farm Park is fun and educational, there is the Kirtland Warbler Festival May 16th and always mushrooming in the springtime.  There is always things to do in Northern Michigan!

Located Just Off I-75
